The Ohio Youth Swine Committee, as provided in the Third Article of the Articles of Incorporation, is organized exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future tax code, more specifically by conducting and supporting exhibits of swine by junior fair participants at the Ohio State Fair.

Sale of OYSC Sponsorships is a public auction held at the Ohio State Fair on Friday of the Barrow show at the lunch break. Sponsorships purchased are for the following year.
OUTSTANDING BARROW EXHIBITOR PROGRAM
A total of $4,500 will be distributed to first through third places in the Outstanding Market Exhibitor Project, with first place receiving $2,000 second place receiving $1,500, third place receiving $1,000. Sponsored by the Youth Reserve Program.
Fourth through thirty places in the Outstanding Market Exhibitor will be sponsored by the Ohio Youth Swine Committee.
